Description

ALLN is a tetrapeptide that inhibits proteases such as calpain I and II. ALLN also stimulates autophagy in vitro and suppresses IκB proteolysis. ALLN exhibits anticancer chemotherapeutic and chemopreventive potential, inducing apoptosis in colon cancer cells and inhibiting tumor formation in vivo.
