Description

Nadifloxacin is a fluoroquinolone antibiotic that exhibits antibacterial efficacy against both gram positive and gram negative bacteria; it inhibits DNA gyrase and is clinically used to treat acne vulgaris. Nadifloxacin inhibits Proponibacterium-stimulated PBMC production of IL-12, IFN-γ, and other cytokines. Nadifloxacin also decreases production of oxidative radicals by neutrophils.
