Description

(-)-Pinostrobin is a naturally occurring flavonoid isolated from Lindera reflexa Hemsl (山橿), and many other variety of plants. Its bioactivities include antioxidant, anti-inflammatory anticancer, and neuroprotective properties. Pinostrobin inhibits malignant breast epithelial cell adhesion and focal adhesion formation to attenuate cell migration and induces apoptosis in human cervical cancer cells.
