Description

Tenuazonic acid (TA) copper salt is a mycotoxin initially produced by Alternaria fungi and occurs primarily in grains. TA inhibits photosynthesis in chloroplasts and increases generation of ROS such as hydrogen peroxide, superoxide radicals, and hydroxide radicals, resulting in cell destruction and leaf necrosis.
