Description
2’,3’-cGAMP sodium salt is a mammalian, noncanonical cyclic dinucleotide with a higher binding potency for human STING than 2’2’-cGAMP and 3’3’-cGAMP. The enzyme cGAMP synthase initiates cGAMP production in the presence of cytosolic DNA, triggering an immune response through the STING pathway. Addition of 2’,3’-cGAMP to vaccination of porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome virus virus-like particles in piglets resulted in enhanced virus replication but did not increase disease severity.
