Description

Fenoprofen is an arylpropionic acid non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that exhibits anti-inflammatory and analgesic activities. Fenoprofen inhibits COX-1 and COX-2 and is clinically used to treat rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis. Fenoprofen inhibits fatty acid oxidation in vitro and acts as a peroxisome proliferator in vivo.
