Description

Indoximod is an inhibitor of indoleamine 2,3 dioxygenase, which plays a role in immune regulation. Indoximod has been found to enhance inflammatory cytokines IL-1beta and IL-6 expression in human corneal epithelial cells exposed to inactivated A. fumigatus spores. Indoximod has also been found as a metabolite in tomato plants exposed to fungi or bacteria.
