Description

Nexturastat A is an inhibitor of histone deacetylase 6 (HDAC 6) that exhibits immunomodulatory and anticancer chemotherapeutic activities. In melanoma cells, nexturastat A inhibits cell proliferation, upregulates expression of MHC class I, and induces G1 phase cell cycle arrest without stimulating apoptosis. In animal models of melanoma, this compound delays tumor growth.
