Description

Vitamin B12 is a coenzyme vitamin found in bacteria, dairy, meat, eggs, and fermented food sources. Vitamin B12 exhibits antioxidative activity and is often given as a dietary supplement. This B vitamin is involved in cellular metabolism, fatty acid synthesis, and energy production; it can also be used to treat cyanide poisoning.
