Description

Procarbazine is a hydrazine derivative that exhibits anticancer chemotherapeutic activity. Procarbazine acts as a DNA alkylator and induces double stranded DNA breaks and causes oxidative damage. Clinically, procarbazine is used to treat Hodgkin’s lymphoma and brain cancers. This compound also inhibits monoamine oxidase (MAO).
