Description
Tebuconazole is a triazole pesticide/fungicide with broad antifungal activity. Like many azole fungicides, tebuconazole likely inhibits 14-α demethylase, inhibiting ergosterol production and fungal cell wall synthesis. Additionally, tebuconazole may inhibit aromatase and act as an endocrine disrupter. Tebuconazole also acts as a nonspecific inhibitor of voltage-gated Ca2+ channels in PC12 neurons, modulating intracellular Ca2+ levels.
