Description
Chloroadenosine is a nucleoside analog that exhibits anticancer, vasodilatory, and anti-inflammatory activities. Chloradenosine induces double-stranded DNA breaks and apoptosis in lung cancer cells. This compound acts as an agonist at adenosine receptors, inducing arterial dilation. In animal models of lung injury induced by latex particles and Escherichia exposure, chloroadenosine decreases expression of TNF-α.
