Description

CHIR-99021 is a highly potent and specific inhibitor of GSK3 that induces differentiation and facilitates development of hematopoietic stem cells. Addition of agents such as rapamycin or retinoic acid to the treatment of human embryonic stem cells was found to strengthen the function of CHIR-99021.
