Description

Glucoraphenin is a glucosinolate originally found in cruciferous vegetables of the Brassicaceae family, such as the daikon radish. Glucoraphenin displays antioxidative activity and may also exhibit chemopreventive benefit. Glucoraphenin increases glutathione S-transferase and quinone reductase activity and expression. Additionally, this compound increases expression of phase II metabolizing enzymes and post-oxidative metabolism in vivo.

Weight is on anhydrous basis.
