Kyotorphin is an opioid neuropeptide that exhibits analgesic, antinociceptive, vasodilatory, and antihypertensive activities. Kyotorphin binds the kyotorphin receptor, which is coupled to Gi GPCRs, altering downstream PLC signaling and met-enkephalin release.
