Description

Ochratoxin B is the non-chlorinated analogue of the extensively studied mycotoxin, Ochratoxin A. It is a secondary metabolite of Aspergillus ochraceus. Its lower toxicity than the chlorinated analog, ochratoxin A, appears to be the result of its rapid metabolism and elimination.
