Ovalbumin (257-264) is an antigenic peptide fragment of ovalbumin that contains a CD8+ cytotoxic T-cell (CTL)-specific epitope with the sequence ‘SIINFEKL.’ This fragment is administered in vaccines to stimulate a Th1 immune response.
