Description

Ro 61-8048 inhibits kynurenine 3-hydroxylase, displaying anti-inflammatory and neuromodulatory activities. Ro 61-8048 is used to study kynurenine signaling in embryonic brain development. In models of trypanosomiasis, this compound decreases inflammation. In animal models of Parkinson’s disease, Ro 61-8048 decreases L-DOPA-induced dyskinesia.
