Description

Triamcinolone is a glucocorticoid/steroid that downregulates expression of VEGF and exhibits anti-inflammatory and anti-angiogenic activities. Triamcinolone is clinically used to treat retinal edema and other ocular pathologies and may cause ocular hypertension.
