Description

Butoconazole is an imidazole derivative that exhibits antifungal/antimycotic and anti-parasitic activities; it likely inhibits 14-α demethylase. Butoconazole displays particularly effective antimicrobial activity against species of Candida, Saccharomyces, and Trichomonas.
