Description

Inosine is a purine nucleoside derivative of adenosine. Inosine binds directly to the A2A receptor and activates adenylyl cyclase promoting neuroprotective effect. Inosine also may inhibit the activity of ubiquitin-activating enzyme 6 to increase the immunogenicity of tumor cells.
