Description

Aflatoxicol is a mycotoxin that was initially produced by Aspergillus; it is a metabolite of aflatoxin B1. Aflatoxicol is a grain contaminant occasionally found in livestock feed. Like other aflatoxins, this compound may form DNA adducts, displaying carcinogenic potential.
