Description

Melanostatin is a neuromodulatory peptide of the MIF-1 family. Melanostatin modulates D2 receptor dopamine signaling and downstream effects. Additionally, this peptide potentiates antidepressant activity of amitriptyline and desipramine in the forced swim test.
