Description

Rebamipide is a quinolone derivative that is clinically used for mucosal protection in the treatment of gastritis and ulcers. Rebamipide exhibits antioxidative activity as a radical scavenger and inhibits NSAID-induced lipid peroxidation, alterations in mitochondrial membrane potential, and apoptosis in epithelial cells.
