Description

Torin 1 is a tricyclic benzonaphthyridinone that inhibits mTORC1/2 and exhibits anti-inflammatory, anti-angiogenic, anti-metastatic, and anticancer chemotherapeutic activities. In macrophages, torin 1 decreases cytokine production and inflammatory response signaling. In colorectal cancer cells, this compound induces apoptosis and inhibits growth, motility, invasiveness, and survival; it also inhibits tumor growth and vessel formation in vivo.
