Description

Tranylcypromine is an inhibitor of monoamine oxidase (MAO) that is clinically used to treat depression and anxiety. Tranylcypromine exhibits antidepressant and anxiolytic activities. This compound also inhibits histone demethylase LSD1, which has a similar sequence homology to MAOs.
