Description

Corynoline is an alkaloid compound originally found in Corydalis tubers that exhibits anticancer activity. Corynoline displays cytotoxicity against several types of cancers in vitro, including lung carcinoma, colon carcinoma, melanoma, and ovarian carcinoma cell lines. Corynoline also noncompetitively inhibits acetylcholinesterase (AChE) in vitro.
