Description

Danofloxacin is a fluoroquinolone antibiotic used in veterinary medicine. Danofloxacin exhibits broad spectrum antibacterial activity against species of Mycoplasma, Actinobacillus, Mannheima, Escherichia, and Pasturella. In renal epithelial cells, danofloxacin also increases activity of antioxidative enzymes, including superoxide dismutase (SOD) and catalase.
