Description

Dihydrocytochalasin B is a mycotoxin derivative that inhibits actin polymerization, preventing mitosis. Dihydrocytochalasin B exhibits anti-parasitic activity, inhibiting the growth of Entamoeba invadens. Additionally, dihydrocytochalasin B exhibits neuromodulatory activity, enhancing the conversion of Kv1.1 K+ channels to A-type K+ channels.
