Description

Pamidronate is a bisphosphonate that exhibits anti-resorptive and anti-osteoporotic activities. Pamidronate is clinically used to prevent injury- or chemotherapy-induced bone loss. Clinically, pamidronate increases muscle fiber, bone strength, and bone density. This compound also prevents cancer metastasis to bone tissue.
