Description

Pramipexole is an agonist at D2/3 receptors that is clinically used to treat symptoms of Parkinson’s disease. Pramipexole exhibits neuroprotective and antidepressant activities. In animal models, pramipexole decreases immobility time in the forced swim test. In vitro, this compound inhibits LPS-induced degeneration of neurons and also inhibits phosphorylation of α-synuclein.
