Cyclosporin C is a cyclosporin metabolite that weakly inhibits calmodulin and displays little immunosuppressive activity. Cyclosporin C exhibits anti-parasitic and antimalarial activities, inhibiting Plasmodium development in vitro and in vivo. This compound also exhibits antifungal activity against filamentous phytopathogenic fungi.
