Description

Ebastine is a second-generation antihistamine and anti-inflammatory compound that is clinically used to treat allergic rhinitis. Like other newer antihistamines, administration of ebastine results in less of a sedative effect than early antihistamines. Ebastine also increases production of IFN-γ. This compound acts as an antagonist at histamine H1 receptors.
