Description

Phomopsin A is a cyclic hexapeptide isolated from Phomopsis leptostromiformis. It is an antibiotic and a modifier of tubulin functions. It is a very potent inhibitor of microtubule assembly by binding to tubulin at a site different from the colchicine binding site. It has anti-proliferative activity against MCF-7 cells
