Description

Solanesol is an all-trans nonaprenol isoprenoid found in plants in the Solanaceae family. Solanesol is clinically used as a biomarker for tobacco exposure as it is a byproduct of combustible tobacco use. Solanesol derivatives exhibit anticancer and antibacterial activities.
