Description

Detect active serine protease enzymes with the SR-101-Phe-CMK Red FLISP Assay Kit. This in vitro assay employs the red fluorescent label sulforhodamine 101 (also known as Texas Red™), which is linked to the target amino acid phenylalanine, and a chloromethyl ketone (CMK) reactive group, forming the fluorescent inhibitor probe, SR101-Phe-CMK. SR101-FLISP labels active chymotrypsin-like serine proteases in living cells. Analyze samples using fluorescence microscopy, fluorescence plate reader, or flow cytometry.
