Description
Melphalan is a nitrogen mustard alkylator and a derivative of mechlorethamine. Melphalan exhibits anticancer chemotherapeutic activity, attaching alkyl groups to the N7 nitrogen of guanine bases on DNA, preventing DNA and RNA synthesis.
