Description

Diethylstilbestrol is a synthetic non-steroidal estrogen that exhibits anticancer activity. Diethylstilbestrol was previously used to treat breast cancer, prostate cancer, vaginitis, symptoms of menopause, and in the prevention of miscarriage. This compound is no longer clinically used for these purposes and has since been classified as an endocrine disrupter.
