Description

Fumonisin B2 is a mycotoxin initially produced by Fusarium that is found as a contaminant in grain, maize, and grapes. Fumonisin B2 inhibits sphingosine acyltransferase, disrupting sphingolipid metabolism. Fumonisin B2 is a more toxic analog of fumonisin B1.
